In Memphis, TN, we discovered that this PINK house is more than just PINK1  We discovered that The Pink Palace was designed to be the home of Clarence Saunders.  This wealthy entrepreneur was the founder of the supermarket chain, Piggly Wiggly, which serviced 1,241 stores in 41 states and in Canada by 1922.
